Before you send your camera to us, please contact our service hotline, because in most cases our advisers can help you over the phone.
Our products are subjected to a strict final quality control check before dispatch. However, if your camera has a defect, please send it in its original packaging to the service address below. Within Every attempt will be made to return your camera, either repaired or replaced within the shortest time possible. The postage charges are covered by the warranty.


IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Before you start using your camera, please be sure to read the User’s Guide carefully.
The following notes and details are important:

  • Your Traveler Digital Camera installs itself on your PC Explorer or workstation as a removable data medium. It will show up on your computer as a new additional removeable drive letter (i.e. “G”). IMPORTANT: If your operating system is WIN 98, WIN 98SE or MAC OS 8.6, you will need to install a driver. (Never connect your Traveler Digital Camera to your computer without installing a driver first). You can find the driver on the enclosed Driver CD-ROM.
    Once you have installed the driver, restart your computer, then connect your Traveler Digital Camera to your PC. It is now recognized as new hardware, and you can load the pictures.
  • The TFT LCD screen is for your guidance when composing the picture and for setting certain functions on your camera.
    The quality of the display is not the same as the quality of the pictures which are far superior with respect to resolution and quality.
  • To download pictures, while the camera is connected to your PC, we would recommend using the charger/power adapter combination that is supplied. This is because jobs like this require a lot of power and will use up the battery quickly. Moreover, you should only turn on the TFT LCD screen when required, as continuous use of the screen drains the battery very quickly.
  • While the camera is connected to the power unit, you can leave the battery in the camera without any problem.
  • To recharge the battery, use the charger/power adapter combination which is supplied. If the battery is completely out of power, it will take approximately 4 hours to charge completely.
  • Please note that the battery is only 5-10% charged when supplied. It should be fully charged before using.
